Jupiter and Faith and A Shout Out to the ElsaElsa Blog

I wish I could find a certain post from ElsaElsa. Elsa is a professional astrologer who has written many thousands of posts, and it’s like trying to find one post out of 10,000.

Her post described a phenomenon where when you’re just about to give up, you get support out of nowhere. Someone comes along and restores your faith! It’s happened to her, and it’s happened to me quite a few times.

It actually happened to me again recently. It’s always unexpected. I’ve seen it happen to others. They lost their homes, and in the strangest way, by the stories they tell, they found out about a faith-based organization that would help them. It’s like witnessing a miracle.

In my most recent case, I think it’s due to Jupiter like outlined below.

So I’m sharing her post, in hopes that you get some respite from Jupiter in the Cardinal Grand Cross.

The Jupiter Effect on the Cardinal Grand Cross by ElsaElsa

Monday, January 6, 2014 – A Soldier with Deep Faith

Mid-day on Monday, the Moon moves into Aries, joining Uranus in Aries in the Cardinal Grand Cross.

We also have Four of Swords.

This card is usually about resting, but with Moon in Aries in the sky, the interpretation is different. It relates to the first half of the day with Moon in Pisces.

I remember reading somewhere that knights used to contemplate as pictured above before they went to battle. Notice the stained glass window in the background. The knight is in a church.

Half the day will be spent in contemplation… preparation for the battle. Deep faith (Pisces) is involved. Once the Moon crosses into Aries, one’s will will be consolidated, and it’s off to the battlefield.

The Aries energy does not exactly harmonize but joins the team. Aries is cardinal. Moon in Aries matches the energy of the Cardinal Grand Cross and works as part of it.

With energy like this in the sky today, there’s a lot of potential.

You have a soldier who’s decisive, focused, and committed, fighting for something they’ve contemplated deeply and have deep faith in.

Do you see yourself using this energy to your benefit?

Sunday, January 5, 2014 – Day for Cardinal signs and Doers

20140104-205530.jpg
Sunday, we have the Eight of Pentacles.

Unfortunately, it may be a day that bores you to tears.

If you like what you have to do on your to-do list, then you’ll fair better than the rest. You’ll probably be excited and invigorated to be productive and get things done. This is Cardinal energy. Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) start things, do things, and take control.

If not, the day may feel like you’re plugging away at something you’d rather not do. You want to go shopping, you want to have fun, you want sleep — you want to do something else!

You want to escape. (The Pisces Moon is still there in the sky.) Anything but this!

Well, I’m sorry. I truly am. It’s not one of those days. I’d chock the tense weekend up to the Cardinal Grand Cross. A person can feel like they’re caught up in a trap.

If you like to work, like the work you have to do, or have a positive outlook on the work that needs to get done, then this will be a good, productive day.

But if you want to slack, you may feel like you’re being dragged out of bed to do your chores.

In the first case, you’re aligning with the Cardinal energy. You’re initiating and doing what needs to get done of your own volition.

In the latter case, the Cardinal energy feels like it’s coming from outside of you and is expressed on to you. Like your mother telling you to get out of bed and clean your room.

Which scenario do you see yourself in? How well do you handle Cardinal energy?

Saturday, January 4, 2014 – 2 of Swords

20140104-205345.jpg
Saturday, around noon Central Time, the Moon conjuncts Neptune and moves into the sign of Pisces, giving the collective an underlying dreamy mood.

There’s also a Cardinal Grand Cross in the sky creating tension. And it will be there until early June.

The card for today is the Two of Swords.

It seems to indicate that there will be some strife or internal conflicts.

For example, you may want to dream, pine, and vegetate today, but you can’t because of your commitments. Or, you might do the above, but feel irritated that you did not carry out your commitments. It’s not a day you can have it all.

In effect, you’ll have to compromise about something. That isn’t necessarily bad.

In the Waite-Smith deck, the card shows a woman holding two swords in perfect balance. In some decks, she is shown balancing on a rope or surface, and in the Thoth, the card is related to Libra, the sign represented by scales.

You’ll have to balance your priorities, even if the difference between your desires is vast. Keeping those swords evenly balanced and up is a feat, but you can do it if you are determined.

If you are confused as to what the right choice is, you would align with what’s important to you and what you feel is best for you. Use your intuition.

If you make the right choice, I think you’ll feel more satisfied and at peace at the end of the day, even if you didn’t get to do or get everything you wanted. You did what you needed.

Did you grapple with something today?
