Wednesday presents a challenge. Four of Pentacles represents a stable position where you have accumulated something and can either move forward or stay where you are. If you stay, you can be comfortable, but it can also get stagnant. If … Continue reading →
Today, we have the 8 of Pentacles. Another Eight this week.
The Eight of Pentacles is associated with hard work and drudgery, much of which is “behind the scenes”. People don’t know how hard some people work to produce a certain result. Think of a public figure that produces amazing work and consider how many hours they dedicated to get there. Sometimes because a person doesn’t see the work directly, it’s assumed not much work was done to get a result. It’s not fair, but no one can read another person’s mind.
Do you feel your work is appreciated? Or, do you feel underappreciated for you contributions? Are you bothered much by lack of recognition, or are you fairly satisfied even if it’s not recognized?
Thursday, we have the Ace of Pentacles with the Moon in Taurus.
Ace of Pentacles is sometimes associated with seeds, as illustrated by Ace of Disks in the Thoth. The reason is fairly intuitive when Pentacles are related to the element of Earth.
Taurus is an earth sign which will provide a lot of stability and grounding today. It’s like having fertile soil. The Ace of Pentacles in this context would suggest it’s a good day to plant a seed or intention of some sort.
How good are you at rolling with the punches? How flexible are you?
Today, we have the Two of Pentacles. This card is often interpreted as ‘juggling’ money or managing one’s finances and cash flow. It can be that, but pentacles are also about work. Thus, the card can be interpreted as juggling priorities, juggling commitments, and managing workload.
If you’ve been busy lately, today will be another busy day. Being rigid won’t help you. How well do you deal with what comes your way?
If you have planets in mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces), being adaptable is more natural to you. For the rest of us, we can learn since being adaptable is a skill. In fact, you may have already learned to be adaptable in some areas as it is necessary in an ever-changing world.
The card is for today, but the insights you get from it can apply to your life. How flexible are you? How well do you adapt? Do you see areas of your life where you could be more flexible? Is there an area of life where being rigid isn’t working for you?
I had to be adaptable when I accidentally erased this entire post with no backup.
