Hanged Man
Monday is reflective. The Hanged Man asks you to change or consider an alternate perspective. This is timely since Mercury (how a person thinks) has changed signs. You may be in a holding position of indecision, but with Mercury freshly placed in Scorpio, it’s more likely that you’re just thinking (Mercury) deeply (Scorpio) … Continue reading

Monday, March 10, 2014 – Humility

Today, we have the 5 of Swords. Humility is the word.

Oftentimes, a person gets humbled. It’s useful when your head starts to swell and inflate like a balloon. It keeps your ego in check.

You can be humbled by being wrong, by being bested by someone, or by circumstances.

You can especially be humbled when you realize the person you complain about for being a ____ … is yourself.

When was the last time you were humbled? Did you laugh at yourself?

Saturday, February 8, 2014 – Intellect

Today, we have the 5 of Swords with the Moon in Gemini.

Usually, 5 of Swords is associated with defeat, pride, that guy you hate, and ego (as depicted in the Raider Waite.)

I’m taking a different approach because this was drawn from a different deck. Numerology, suit, and element can convey additional meanings to your usual interpretations.

Fives are smack dab in the middle of the suit. Events or desires can turn on a heel. You can go forward or you can turn back – your decision.

Today, the card isn’t about fighting or arguing or any of that. Though it could be a result of mental sparring.

Today, the card is about intellect. Your intellect can be sharp or dull, trained or left to waste, usual or unusual.
It’s much like a sword.

Moon’s in Gemini. I’m feeling Mercurial today. Are you?

In all, I think it’s saying use it or lose it!

Gemini, swords, and air are associated with books, trickery, wits, thoughts, communication, analysis, words, debate, education, the mind, and intellect.

Are you doing something airy today?
